Program Theme
Too many marriages and families look back and say, “I never thought life would look like this today.”
As individuals and families we are often very intentional about education, job, sports, etc, but often not as intentional when it comes to our spiritual lives and the spiritual lives of our children. There are no guarantees, but certainly a clear call of God for us to be intentional in pointing our families to a vital relationship with God.
Through speakers, peer groups studies, and family activities, we will look at the theme of “The Intentional Family” this summer. Using the life of Peter as our focus we will discuss the importance of:
· Being intentional in our response to God’s call on our lives
· Being intentional rather than simply having good intentions when it comes to being who God has called us to be
· Being intentional in our witness of God’s reality in our lives
· Being intentional in accepting God’s forgiveness and in forgiving others.
