A week-long session of family camp begins on Sunday afternoon with a chartered Catalina Express reserved exclusively for registered CBS guests. Ferry leaves from the Express terminal in San Pedro (specific time to be announced in registration confirmation email).
Charter will arrive directly at CBS, just before dinner, where guests will receive orientation and cabin assignments. From then on, a typical day’s schedule follows this pattern:
6:00 AM Tubing/water skiing - this is on a sign-up basis
8:00 AM Breakfast & camp devotions after breakfast
9:45 AM Ages Infant through College in Peer Groups divided by grades
Adults in Small Group Study and Speaker Session
12:15 PM Lunch
1-1:30 PM Family Time in Cabins
1:30-5 PM Free time to enjoy swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, basketball, ping pong, horseshoes, shuffleboard, tetherball, volleyball, hiking, fishing, kiddy pool and play yard for small children. Snack Shop open for purchase of gifts, souvenirs, books and snacks.
5:30 PM Dinner
7:00 PM Worship and singing
7:30 PM Evening activity – varies by night. Includes, game show, camp fire, family dance night, and banquet on Friday night
Wednesday is “change of pace day.” Families have three options for to choose from:
1) hike into Avalon
2) boat into Avalon
3) stay in camp and relax.
Everyone that chooses to go to town is picked up by boat mid-afternoon. You also have a lunch option of a sack lunch provided by camp or to eat out on your own at one of the local restaurants. See this Wednesday Options PDF download for more detail.

Specific program for 3 night Labor Day Weekend Family Camp is still in development but will feature many of the same elements mentioned above. Due to abreviated schedule, excursion to Avalon and banquet night will not be featured in this program.
