Campus by the Sea is located in a beautiful secluded cove on Catalina Island. This amazing setting on the beach makes for a week of fun, a time of growing friendships and a chance to encounter God.

Enjoy games, including our infamous Salt Watermelon relay, kayaking, snorkeling, swimming, skit and talent show night and campfires. You also have a chance to hike to Avalon and enjoy the afternoon, with a boat ride back to camp. Bring some Hawaiian clothes and dress up for our special Luau BBQ beach party to conclude this incredible week of fun! We are excited to have Jonathan Burcombe returning to host both High School Camp and Junior High Camp. Jonathan has been in full time ministry at the Avalon Community Church for 16 years where he serves as the Young Adults Pastor and worship leader.

High school students will grow spiritually from powerful preaching during our large group meetings with Barry Martinez. Barry is on staff with Fellowship of Christain Athletes in Orange County where he’s served since 2002. Previous to FCA, he served as the Director of High School Ministries at Forest Home Christian Conference Center. He has also served as a youth pastor at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach and Calvary Chapel in Downey.

Jason Winters and his band “Starve The Old Man” return again this year to lead us in spirit filled worship for High School camp.

Leading our week of Junior High Camp is Jeff Mattesich, the Associate Pastor of Students at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena, CA. Prior to his role at Lake Avenue, Jeff Served as Junior High and College Director at Forest Home Christian Conference Center. Jeff is married and has two young children.

Joey Orate, singer, songwriter, recording artist, and worship leader at Ignite Church in Poway, Callifornia will lead worship for the Junior High Camp.
