As if our idyllic, ocean-side setting wasn’t enough to keep guests coming back year after year, Campus by the Sea is also known for our outstanding food service. Originally motivated by our isolated and remote location, CBS began making its own bread and baked goods early in its history. That tradition carries on today with meal selections made from fresh ingredients with a minimum of pre-packaged or processed foods. Our guests tell us time and again they have never eaten so well while away on retreat. That may have something to do with our award winning Chef D’Arcy Letourneau who comes to us from some of the best resorts and restaurants in Canada. D’Arcy also does an excellent job of accommodating special diets and being sensitive to the needs of those with food allergies. Communicate to us through your group leader or registration form about these needs.
Many people request the recipes for the delicious meals they enjoyed while at camp. And now we have this updated version Recipes by the Sea - Part Deux. This version features dishes served during our 2013 summer season and can be printed on regular letter sized paper.
