InterVarsity Alumni & Friends Camp

July 8-13, 2024

Summer 2024 Registration Open!

Remember manuscript studies from your student days?

InterVarsity Alumni & Friends Camp continues the tradition of inductive Bible study and invites families and singles to join in and make space for God to speak, whether you are returning to camp or visiting here for the first time. This camp is designed for more in-depth Bible study in place of a speaker for adults. And we offer lots of time for great family fun!

July 8-13, 2024 (Monday - Saturday)

  1. Rob Dixon will be returning as the InterVarsity Program Director for this year.

  2. Download our registration guide and sign up your family using our registration system or fill out the form below to have CBS help you along in the process.

  3. Recruit and encourage other InterVarsity alumni to sign up.

  4. Send the CBS office an email to ask any questions about the registration process.

What Guests are Saying About IV Alumni & Friends Camp

Alumni camp has become an important and wonderful part of my family's summer rhythm. The week at CBS is a time of family bonding, spiritual growth, connecting with friends and playing! My kids love their age-appropriate group and camp activities and leave the week feeling encouraged in their faith journeys. My husband and I appreciate the space to hear what God may be speaking to us through his Word, often learning from the insights of those in the community. In addition, the various themed workshops have inspired our marriage and given us new ways of parenting. Lastly, having a week unplugged from our various electronic devices and work responsibilities allows us time to rest and recharge.

— Diana Meza-Ehlert, UCSD ‘97

My family connected with God and other families with many of the same joys and challenges we have as parents with young children. My wife and I connected with God, each other, and others during the Colossians manuscript study and my two daughters were able to learn about God's plan for them and make friends as well. As a family we connected with each other, absent of the worries and pulls on our attention, surrounded by God's beauty and his people at Catalina.  Coming to Alumni Camp at CBS will now be an annual tradition for the Espinosa family.

— Joseph Espinosa, UCLA ’01

Catalina is a special place. We basically go every year, and there’s something about it, maybe the island, maybe because it feels safe, maybe that we’re all there as a community and we’ve become friends, maybe because nobody’s on their phone, but some of my best memories happened there. I will remember them for the rest of my life.

— Nathan Ball, age 14

Like others, I consider CBS “Holy Ground” in my spiritual journey. My family and I are grateful for the opportunity to return to CBS.
