WHAT TO BRING

PACKING

Please remember that you will have to carry all of your luggage. We enjoy a simple lifestyle at camp, so please pack light. Catalina Express will not allow you to bring luggage in garbage canisters with wheels, or use dollies. All luggage should have your name and Campus by the Sea written on a tag or label.

• Shorts, t-shirts, pants/sweats, jacket, and/or sweatshirt

• Slightly dressier outfit for Friday night (Family Camp only)

• Sleeping bag

• Pillow and pillowcase (we no longer supply pillows)

• Swimsuit (modest) and beach towel

• Toiletries and personal towel (note: due to water-efficient shower heads, we recommend you bring leave-in conditioner if you have long hair)

• Bible and notebook

• Athletic shoes and/or hiking shoes

• Water shoes or good sandals like Chacos or Tevas

• Flashlight (a must!)

• Refillable water bottle or insulated coffee mug

Campus by the Sea has a modest swimsuit policy. Swimsuits are REQUIRED for all campers (both genders) when swimming. In addition, cover-ups must be worn to and from the beach and in the dining hall. No swimsuits or wet clothes are allowed in the dining hall.
