LIFE AT CAMPUS BY THE SEA
LITTLE G’S COVE
Little G’s is the private cove where our summer staff live. Nestled just steps from the ocean and only a 10-minute walk from our “Main Camp”, this camper-free area offers beautiful and rustic housing as you live and work in the community.
-Separate men’s and women’s bath pavilions with cold water showers and pit toilets.
-Beachside fire pit for campfires in your free time
-Platforms for star gazing and sleeping under the stars
OCEAN TIDE LEVELS 〰
*The ocean tide level will determine whether you will walk or hike to Little G’s. If the tide is high, you will have to take the longer and slightly more strenuous hike up and over. If the tide is mid to low, you can cross the beach relatively quickly.
However, be mindful that the beach walk is still very rocky and unstable, and the hike up and over is relatively steep.
HOUSING
The cabins are split up between guys and girls, and every night, you’ll get to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Each bunk bed hosts two very large pull-out drawers where you will store your clothing in one. There will be other designated spaces in “Main Camp” over the ridge where you can store other personal belongings as well. Our rustic cabins have no electricity.
BEACH SIDE FIRE PIT
OUTDOOR BATH PAVILIONS
Each separate men's and women's outdoor bath pavilion features two pit toilets, two cold showers, and an outdoor cold water sink. There are also cubbies where you will store your toiletries and personal morning/night items for starting and ending each day.
Don't worry—you will have access to hot water showers and indoor plumbing in "Main Camp," where most of the summer's action happens.
FREE TIME
Summer staff have access to tons of activities and outdoor options.
On non-camper days, we plan social events and excursions. From snorkel tours to parasailing, we want you to have a fun-filled summer you will never forget.
Available activities
Kayaking Stand up paddle boarding
Fishing Snorkeling
Boating Hiking
Frisbee golf Beach volleyball Basketball
Gaga ball Ping pong Pickleball
Spikeball
WORK
Let’s be honest, working at a Christian summer camp is the hardest, most rewarding, dirtiest, silliest, and most life-changing job there is.
We believe our staff is on mission together to serve our campers and live out God’s purpose for their lives. For some, that means cooking delicious meals. For some, it means leading Bible studies. For others, it means lifeguarding. But, for everyone, it means joyfully serving for God’s glory.
SPIRITUAL GROWTH
Campus by the Sea is the perfect place to build good spiritual habits and learn new ones. We believe this is essential to living a Christ-centered life. There will be opportunities to worship through music, prayer, and bible studies.
