Located on Catalina Island, Campus by the Sea is the only Christian oceanfront camp and retreat center in California. Be a part of our camp family and make lifelong friends while living in community with other believers. Our private cove is only accessible by boat--15 minutes from Avalon, offering increased camaraderie with your colleagues and peace in your life. You will be a part of continuing Campus by the Sea’s 70-year legacy by serving students, adults, and families to help them experience faith, fun, and fellowship in new ways. All positions are paid. Benefits include onsite housing and amazing recreation opportunities, including snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, pickleball, basketball, fishing, hiking, and looking for shells on our rocky beach.
ONGOING EMPLOYMENT
Seasonal Employment – We offer three types of seasonal positions:
9-Month Employment: Work from March through November.
3-Month Spring Employment: Work from March through May.
3-Month Fall Employment: Work from September through November.
Year-Round Employment – Full-time employees work year-round, for all 12 months of the year.
SUMMER STAFF (10 WEEKS)
Our summer staff are an essential part of our team during our busy summer season. These positions run for 10 weeks, from May 31 through August 4, 2026.
Team members in these roles help support daily operations, contribute to a positive atmosphere, and ensure that each guest enjoys a safe and memorable experience
