Outdoor Education

Catalina School Adventures

During the spring and fall, Catalina School Adventures (CSA) brings grade school students to Campus by the Sea for an outdoor education program. The CSA programs are held during the week for a three day, four day, or five day camp. The marine science program consists of classroom lecture time, hands-on outdoor activities and free time. Activities include: Island Ecology, Underwater Discovery, Marine Life, Rock Pool Exploration, and Squid Dissection.

These programs are all run entirely by CSA instructors. Campus by the Sea provides the lodging, facilities, meals, and equipment. CSA is the exclusive outdoor education option at Campus by the Sea, so please direct all inquiries about scheduling, registration and programs to the CSA team. You can find contact and general information at the CSA Website. If you have your own qualified instructors and would like to inquire about using our facility for your own program, please go to our guest group site to find more information and to fill out the group inquiry form.
