JR HIGH/HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER YOUTH CAMPS
WELCOME to Campus by the Sea on beautiful Catalina Island! We exist to serve campers as they grow in their relationship with Christ through powerful messages and worship, exciting camp games and activities, and time with their church family. We offer all kinds of activities for free time like kayaks, stand up paddle boards, snorkeling, fishing, tubing behind a boat, 9 square in the air, Gaga Ball, an 18 hole disc golf course and inflatable water toys including our new water totter. We are working year round to make this summer the BEST SUMMER EVER!

With incredible memories waiting around every corner, Summer Youth Camp promises an immersive summer experience filled with laughter, friendship, and spiritual growth.
Philosophy
We know it can be a challenge to schedule multiple summer camps with different ages of students during the summer. We offer an integrated program that gives age-appropriate lessons for large and small groups with epic all-camp games and worship. Our program is designed to facilitate growth in your church youth group’s community. High School and Jr. High students are at different levels and at different steps in their journey with Christ. Our program addresses this through separate teaching times that go deeper with age-appropriate lessons and challenges but also engage everyone together in amazing community-building events.
Our prayer is that we truly partner with your church Leaders to set you up for success not only at Campus by the Sea but for your ministry year-round. This is not your typical plug-and-play “church camp. We are truly here to serve you in any way your church needs.
We have a large Program Staff to serve you and your group facilitating how you want to lead. Need a break? Our staff can lead your small group times. Want to lead? All spaces are open for you and your church to thrive. All programmatic elements are 100% optional or 100% mandatory… it all depends on what YOU as the CHURCH decide for your students. We take care off all the details so YOU the CHURCH can concentrate on Christ-building relationships with your students.

Nathan Worsey
Nathan is returning to CBS after teaching in the classroom for the past 10 years in the San Bernardino area. He and his wife Sarah are raising their two kids here on the island.
