Accommodations

Campus by the Sea's accommodations are simple but comfortable. Our retreat and conference center provides the opportunity for groups to “unplug” from the demands of daily living and connect with nature and God.

All units are furnished with one memory foam double mattress plus bunk beds with recently upgraded foam mattresses. With the exception of a few small cabins (Sand Dab units) reserved for conference speakers and guests with special needs, none of our cabins or tents are equipped with electricity. Flashlights are highly recommended.

A modern Bathroom Pavilion is located centrally within the camp which provides toilets, sinks, and hot showers and electricity. None of our guest quarters have private bathrooms.

Enclosed Cabins

Fully-enclosed cabins offer our best all-weather protection and allow the camp to operate for an extended season. Each room has a skylight and high ceiling that create a bright and airy environment. Each unit sleeps eight people in bunk beds, including one double mattress, and shares a deck with an adjoining unit.

Open Air Cabins

These cabins are very comfortable in warmer months when more air flow is desirable. The walls of the cabin do not extend fully to the roof, so the air can move freely throughout the room.

Tents

Large canvas tents are built on sturdy wooden platforms. Each unit has one double mattress. Single mattresses are arranged on bunks. Tents have door flaps and windows with screens. Most of these units are located along the flood control channel. These canvas tents are available in four-person and eight-person sizes to meet various needs.

Tent Cabins (WeatherPort Fabric Shelters™)

Built in 2018, these four units manufactured by WeatherPort Shelter Systems™ each sleep five people. Each tent cabin includes two bunk beds, a memory foam double mattress, and a private porch with a breathtaking view of our cove, pier, the silhouette of Long Point and the distant outline of the mainland. These units are assigned to groups upon request and at the discretion of the Guest Services Manager.

Speaker Cabin (Sand Dabs)
