KENT & ROBIN KRANING

Kent Kraning serves as the Marriage Life and Senior Ministry Pastor at Friends Church in Yorba Linda. He and Robin have been married for more than 40 years and have six sons, four “daughters-in-love,” and 10 grand-lambs. Together they have served in ministry most of their married lives. Kent is a sought-after speaker on marriage and parenting for churches, camps, and conferences due to his engaging style, poignant story telling and insightful biblical teaching. Kent is also the author of “Dirt Grenades,” a book on the power of intentional parenting using humor and biblical truths to frame his family’s stories in ways that are impactful in guiding parents on raising kids that will stand firm in their faith.

CBS Family Camp was a special place for the Kraning family while raising their boys and they served as the speakers for a week each summer for more than a decade.  Kent and Robin have also directed Family Camps and other adult conferences at Forest Home. In addition, Kent serves as the Chaplain for the Orange County Fire Authority.

CHRIS & KATIE SHERROD

Chris Sherrod is the Marriage and Family Director at Watermark Community Church in Dallas, Texas. Chris and his wife Katie have been married more than 30 years and have eight wonderful children, 3 daughter-in-law’s, 1 son-in-law, and 5 grandchildren.  They have dedicated their lives to ministering to students, adults and families as teachers, pastors, camp directors, coaches and youth ministers. 

Chris’s passion is to equip believers to live, defend and share their faith, challenge men to model the Gospel and true masculinity in everyday life, and pass on a clear vision of God’s blueprint for families. Chris authored “Fact, Faith and Reason,” an apologetics study series that helps believers understand what and why they believe, and how their beliefs impact their personal lives.  Chris and Katie’s desire is for their family to be used by God to show how Jesus Christ changes everything.”
